Warm Hellos and Well Wishes For All

Hey guys! I got emails from Tito Alex and Tito Arthur, Lola Annie's strapping boys.

What's Up Girl? How 's life treating you these days? Good I hope. Just wanted to touch base with you since you are a highly regarded socialite of the filipino community! Art sent me your e-mail address and I just wanted to reply. It's great that you're able to keep in touch.

2010 is the year in planning a european tour . Starting in Germany, then progressing towards Italy with stop overs in Florence , Venice , more of Rome, Milan, and perhaps Sicily and Selerno. Will give more details later. Spread the news to your mom and dad, as well as the rest of the clan.

The Hard Rock Cafe in Italy was really nice. No Black Cats sightings though.

I will Holla at you later...

Tito Alex....

Naks! Master Blogger is a socialite. Haha! Message me guys if you want to email Tito Alex or Tito Arthur as I have their email addresses. :o)

Here's another email I got from Tito Arthur:

Hey Tenten,

Well, if things go as current plan, I won't be able to make it to the P.I.s - bummer! Looks like the customer in Quezon is pushing for an early install next month! If so, I'll be doing another install in New York at @ the same time Quezon is done. 2 of us in N.Y. and another 2 in Quezon. Would be tough to take extra time now, since I was able to fly back to Toronto for the funeral.

Nice website and links @ Lola Ganda too!!!!!!!! I forwarded it to Al, so hopefully he'll email you too!

I'll let you know if anything changes! How's things there? Good I hope. Hope all is well! Services in Toronto were very nice, a sense of peacefulness! Glad I was able to make it, but couldn't afford to take the family.

Talk soon and take care,

Art

[Remembering Lola Ganda] Letter From Tita Mila

-----Original Message-----
From: Mila Urbano [mailto:mila.urbano@rogers.com]

Subject: Lola Ganda

Dear Ten,

Please pass this on to our folks over there.

Mommy passed away last night. She went very peacefully. It was the kind of passing away that I have been praying for her. She was surrounded by all of us. She stopped breathing while we were surrounding her and saying prayers. Her face was serene, with the hint of a smile.

She died on All Saints Day, and also the date of her wedding anniversary. We were thinking Daddy was being romantic again and took her on their anniversary.

She was very brave till the end and never lost her faith.

She has been having trouble getting up in the the last week because of her swollen legs. It would have become worse if she lingered on. She wouldn't have liked that. She has refused to go to hospital earlier but agreed to be taken yesterday. We had to carry her by ambulance. Her breathing was already irregular. She was gasping. When they monitored her at the hospital they couldn't get a pulse reading. She was slurred in her speech but throughout it all she was still the thoughtful, loving, kind woman that she always was - thanking everybody around her. Even her doctor and hospital staff loved her.

So Lola Ganda will now shine her beauty in heaven. I know you will all continue to pray for her.

We will still make funeral arrangements today so we don't have a timetable yet. Will let you know. Although I'm sure Tito Jun has already been in touch with you.

Okay, Ten, love to you all.

Tita Mila

[Remembering Lola Ganda] Eulogy from Lola Juling

God did not make death nor does He rejoice in the destruction of the living for He fashioned all things that they might have being. There is no remedy for man's dying for our mortal body is a spark that can only last with the healing of our heart and when our thirst for life is quenced, our body will be ashes and our spririt will rise like unresisting air. Our life will pass away like the traces of a cloud, despirsed like a mist pursued by the sun's rays getting burned along the way. For our lifetime is the passing of a shadow and our dying cannot be deferred because it is fixed with a seal and no one can ever escape. But though this is so... we can always remembe what somebody has been to us.

Our sister Pacing, though now dead, will always be alive in our hearts, in our memories, in our lives.

For as God is love, my sister Pacing is love personified for:

My sister Pacing did more than care, she always helped
My sister Pacing had been more than fair, she was most kind and just.
My sister Pacing would do more than forgive, she would forget.
My sister Pacing had done more than just dream of a good life for her chldren and loved ones, she worked hard to make her dreams come true.
My sister Pacing had done more than give material things, she served and fave so much of herself.
Just like a candle which burns itself to give light to others.
My sister Pacing had done more than just lived, she saw to it that people she loved, especially her children and their families will grow with patience, humility, sincerity, with kindness, and with genuine love for others embedded in their hearts.
My sister Pacing had always wanted to be called Lola Ganda, Tita Ganda, Sister ganda. She need not ask for this title for in the hearts and minds of all whose lives she had touched, she is most beautiful, blessed by our Lord with both beauty of heart, mind, and soul.

Dear Lord, lay down my sister Paz in peace and sleep.

Make her dwell in Your bosom, keep her lamp burning with Your love, turn whatever darkness, she had in her life into Your Divine light.

Unto thee we lift up her soul to Your embrace and loving heart.

And from Psalm 23, I say to you our dearest sister... Rest in peace beacuse the Lord had been your shepherd, you shall not want. In Verdant pastures, He will give you repose. Beside restful waters, He will lead you. He will refresh your soul. And you will dwell in the house of the Lord for all eternity.

Lola Pacing's Passing

At approximately 8AM Manila time, November 2, Lola Pacing, passed away. She was diagnosed with cancer a year ago.

Lola Pacing, who we've all come to know and love as Lola Ganda, will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humor, good-nature, and generosity.

The Tanquilut family is thankful to have known Lola Pacing as a sister, an aunt, and a lola. We love you and we pray for your eternal repose.
