Brrrrrrilliant Baguio! (Part 3)
DAY 3 : Hasta Luego, Baguio!
Parang kailan lang when we arrived in the City of Pines. Monday (Independence Day no less!) came and we had to say goodbye to the Summer Capital of the Philippines. We spiffied the house back to its original state-of-glory, and posed for our last photo inside # 8 Pluto.
It was a miracle that we got all our stuff (plus a whole lot more!) inside the van again! Shot gun seemed to be the most in demand seat of all, but in the end, it was Mark G and Tonton who kept Kuya Jerry company (umm... with their sound of sleeping silence and some NBA talk?). Good bye, # 8 Pluto! Thank you Manong caretaker!
Our last Baguio stop was Tito Nelson's house to drop Rommel off. He was staying in Baguio longer (to meet up his friends), and Tito Nelson has been kind enough to take Rommel in. The JKR Sari-Sari Store was filled with goodies, and we sampled a few of their paninda. We truly appreciate Tito Nelson and Tita Merly's generosity and hospitality. Thanks!!
Here's the super kulit Pau and pal Kuya Jerry-Boy. Bouncer na bouncer!
Tito Nelson also showed us a house we could rent in case we're ever in Baguio again (Hmm... in 2 months maybe?? Hehe! Hello Tita Linda! Haha!) It was pretty huge! Could definitely fit a lot of people comfortably!
So we end our Baguio trip with a promise... A promise to return to his super cool place... maybe with more Tanquiluts in tow!
