Bohol and Cebu Adventure, Part 2A
Bright and early on the 29th of April, Saturday, we started on our Tour of Bohol. First on the agenda is the Sagbayan Peak, which offered a pretty good view of the Chocolate Hills. It was pretty amazing how Lola Naty was able to climb the steep incline to the halfway mark of the Peak.
The halfway mark of the peak offered a pretty good view of Chocolate Hills. However, the better view was quite a walk from the halfway mark. The walk wasn't so bad (if one was equipped with a trusty hat). There was a nice smell of pine wood. At the end of the trail, the view of the hills was pretty spectacular!
Everyone in our group was fascinated at how each of the hills had different shapes and yet did not have any trees distorting the hill-esque shape. We found out later that these hills are mostly made of limestones!
Below are some of the more winning shots our tourists had with these famous hills. The hills were very much alive!
Before leaving Sagbayan Peak, we also visited their Butterfly Garden. This particular one which Rommel is holding, is just 15 minutes old and could not fly as of yet.
We went to Mt. Carmel next, where the view of Chocolate Hills was nothing short of breathtaking! Here we saw more hills! The climb to the place where you'll see the exquisite view is a pretty long way up! We had to climb more than 200 steps! But all the panting and sweat were well worth it!
