Lolo Larding's Bievenida

Despite the howling wind and downpour, the Aguirres and Tanquiluts got together to welcome our favorite and original KUYA... Lolo Larding Aguirre! He and Lola Nena flew in about three weeks ago. The guest of honor had no qualms posing for the camera.

Lolo Larding very happy to see everyone
Lolo Larding has a lot to smile about! He now has 2 "apo(s) sa tuhod". Congratulations Lolo!

Tita Cory, Mama, and Tita Myr chatted up a storm!

Everyone brought/bought their own culinary delights. Present on Lolo Ric's round table were:

Pansit and Pichi pichi from Amber, assorted fruits, best seller potato salad (obviously, naubos kaagad kaya empty bowl na lang ang nakikita), and hito.

What's a party without Sugpo and Kare Kare ?! And the bagoong to complement this classic Filipino dish.

Kids were all over the place! It's pretty amazing how all of them have grown over the last few months.

Bettina Aguirre changed her outfit two or three times that afternoon! Doting parents, Christine and Tito Ron, can't seem to get enough of this little angel. She looks just like Daddy! With Mommy's innate sense for fashion of course. The Aguirres went to Hong Kong a few months ago for three weeks and Christine reports she genuinely enjoys being a full-time mom to Bettina.

Inigo Aguila loves his toys! In the first floor bedroom in Lolo Ric's house is a toy haven! He loves his toy motorcycle (which Fonzie got to ride a few times), and he enjoys sliding down his small slide.

Ginger is the sweetest thing since honey! Check out her demure smile and how she held her skirt. She's pretty tall for a four year old!

Now who wouldn't love Fonzie Arteta?! This boy loves loves loves fruits! He gobbled several slices of watermelon! Fonzie can also say a few phrases here and there! He knows he has an equally good-looking cousin named Arvin Dylan.

Stella Galica looks just like Daddy Mark. Mommy April is so very fond of her kids. Gelo looks just like her and now Stella looks like husband Mark. His and her kids!

Here are the inseperable Aguirre sisters with their chikitings.

As we waited for Tita Alda's ginataan, we all exchanged kwentos. We reminisced about our Baguio trip and the special bond that Gibo and Tita Guste had. Hehe! Tito Mar also shares that Gibo once said, "Ang sarap talaga sa Baguio... Pero sino nga ba yung di nakasama??". Of course he was referring to Tito Mar. Bata pa lang alaskador na!

Ate Lheng! Kulang ka sa pic na ito! This is the girls' club. It's been a while since we last had our overnight sessions at Onyx street!! Ratio of single gals and married gals... 1:1!

Here are some more pictures of those who came to welcome Lolo Larding...
