Lola Naty's 84th Birthday

Hey guys! One more backlog entry for me!

Last August, the family celebrated Lola Naty's 84th Birthday in a chinese resto in BF Paranaque. The function room was of course filled with family and close family friends (head count of over 60). Here are some pics, courtesy of the photographer in my absence, Tito Mar. The theme of the evening was Filipiniana!

The Tanquiluts (Tito Hermie's family) prepared a song and dance number. Of a very Filipino song of course!

The Aguirres were royalty that evening! Lahat may award and titles!

Tito Romy Turns 56

Tito Romy turned 56 last October 10th (hence eldest daughter's name, Tenten). He celebrated with a feast of lengua, lechon from Cebu, adobong kambing, fish fillet, callos and a truck load of cake!

Here's the celebrant with the inuman posse! Best bud Tito Lito is his favorite drinking buddy! Oysters were aflowing as well.

The girls were chatting up a storm on the nearby table. Mitchie is still with the Mabanta Law office. Ate Abi's Dental Clinic is flourishing. Ate Cynthia is still the same Badminton-crazed chick. And Tenten is busy, busy with her work in Accenture.

Mother and daughter Tita Molly and Ate Mylene sat side by side. Ate My has been resting since her miscarriage. Gengen is still on the Dean's List in DLSU, and Milet is graduating next term.

Little Alfonso just loves his Lola! This little boy is amazing! He knows almost everyone!

Lester is back from Europe (the Ateneo Glee Club won a handful of competitions). Gelo will be interning in Citibank (Makati). Kuya Marlon is still with PCGG (and still an aspiring model).

The Aguirres were of course present!

Puno-Paragua Wedding

Hey guys! Here's installment one of my backlog entries.

September 2 marked the union of our very own Mylene Esguerra Puno to her long time beau, Erick Paragua. The ceremony took place in Mt. Carmel church in New Manila bright early that Saturday morning.

Yssa and Marjorie were such lovely brideamaids! Fonzie had the best all-lower teeth smile among the crowd!

And of course, the blushing lovely bride was beaming in joy.

Reception followed the ceremony. Just behind the church was a function hall which was elegantly decorated for the occasion. Tita Gina, Carol, and Tita Marison helped in the proceedings. The guests came up to the couple's table for pictorials.

Tito Mar turns 40!

Friday night till Saturday afternoon was Tito Mar time! The Tanquiluts celebrated his 40th beeday in Villa Elena, Laguna. The first batch of peeps came Friday night and left early Saturday morning. The whole Tondo crew and Teoville families were there. Singing and drinking the night away. Unfortunately, Tito Mar forgot to bring his camera. So the pics I have below were taken when I arrived Saturday morning.
