Tides with the Moraleses

After the Morales-Aguirre Reunion at Tita Baby's Las Pinas home, the young ones (with Tita Marison of course), went to Tides Bar in BF Homes to initiate the Morales cousins. Vince, David, Leanne, and Dennis all had their mandatory shots of Red Tide, the Tanqs favorite Alize-White Rhum-and-Four-Seasons mixed drink. We all had a fab fab time getting to know our second cousins from Lolie Paz's side of the family.

Tides highlights include Dennis and Vince meeting a group of Korean girls and returning with a bottle of San Mig Pale Pilsen each. Our second cousins also took their turns going to the bathroom and walking off the "tama". The Tanqs put their english to good use and tried to communicate.

After Tides, the peeps went to this videoke place in BF (a five minute drive), and sang the night away. We were all pleasantly surprised that David knew the lyrics to Bamboo's songs (in Tagalog!). Turns out, he's a huge Bamboo fan and he has band in Toronto.

Syempre, here's the Tanq's pride... our very own Champ!

We do hope to see more second cousins from Lolie Paz's side of the family soon!

Sentro with the Concepcions

The Concepcion parents, Tita Doris and Tito Willy, recently visited Manila with the entire Concepcion family. Some of Tanqs took them out to watch a Tiongco brothers last week. Dinner first at Sentro Greenbelt, where they sampled the famous Corned beef Sinigang and Crispy Pata.

July First Saturday Prayer Meeting

Back to back family gatherings this weekend! Twas that time of the month again at the Geocaniga prayer house.

Tito Boy's 60th Birthday Party

Last July 4, our beloved Tito Boy (known as Gil to others), celebrated his 60th birthday. It was a super fun celebration, filled with music, dancing, and lots and lots of food! Tita Edith happily warned the guests that she had a song number in store. Hehe. Lester tried his hand at show band lead singing. Beer, drinks, and the food was simply over flowing! Tito Boy was a gracious host, greeting everyone with a smile.

Everyone had a great time! Check out some of the pics:
