Fonzi's Third Beeday

Happy beeday Alfonso Rafael Arteta! Ate Abi and Cha Cha's unico hijo just turned three today! The Torreses/Artetas had a small salo-salo at Lola (which Fonzie pronounces as "yoya") Myr's house.

'Course, the Paranaque group was ever present (well, those of us who are in the Philippines). Cha's parents were there, too! And Fonzie's cousins from the Arteta side.

On the menu... kiddie spaghetti which is always a welcome treat to kids and adults alike! Fried rice, inihaw na liempo, and chicken bbq! We were looking for Tita Myr's famous bbq sauce. What we did find however, was a bottled sauce from Serye. Hehe.

The celebrant loved his present from Tito Mar. A water gun! Fonzi likes watering the plants, and this water gun will make it doubly fun.

Guess Who's Coming Home?

For Nanay Cion's 90th Birthday celebration and for Nanay Naty's 85th Birthday celebration, the Bautistas are coming back to the Philippines this June and this August! Woohoo! We are pretty psyched!

See you soon, Tito Ben, Tita Cion, Chris, Noel, and Aileen!

Enchanted Kingdom with Enchanting Girls

Tuesday was fun day. The girls, Ina, Iris, Yssa, and Charmaine (Ina's friend), went to where the magic was... Enchanted Kingdom!

Charmaine and Yssa actually look alike, don't you think?

We kept ourselves entertained while we waited for Camille's classmates. We played a game of numbers with consequences. Ina had to model, Charmaine and Camille had to dance Boom Tarat Tarat, and Charmaine and Yssa had to made an identical pose.

The girls are loving the choclolate ice cream! Charmaine had a chocolatey hand!

We all had a fun time going on the rides, being soaked to the skin, and goofing off. Some firsts for Yssa and Charmaine! Twas the first time the girls rode the Space Shuttle. Awesome, ain't it?

Sa uulitin!

Tita Linda's Birthday Buffet

Recently, the L.A. peeps celebrated Tita Linda's birthday at L.A. Buffet. Three families pala to noh! The Bautistas, the Paraguas, and the Punos.

Happy Birthday Tita Linda!

Manny Pacquiao Night at Alhambra

On that fateful "Blaze of Glory" evening, the Punos, Paraguas, and the Torreses got together to watch the Pacquiao-Solis bout. Pay-per-viewing at the Puno/Paragua residence in Alhambra California.

But first... here's Judy and Kuya Beng's champ, Dylan Arvin!

Mommies chatting over dinner! Here are Ate Mylene, Tita Linda, and Judy.

Daddy Beng and soon to be Daddy Erick

Pacquiao brings out the boxing fan in every Filipino! Check out Tita Linda's very engrossed look!

Shopping Sunday!

Sunday morning and afternoon, Iris, Ina, Ate Love and I went to Greenhills for a little shopping. We had lunch at Gloria Maris and it was the best Chinese lunch ever. Haha. Later, we had dessert at Bizu.

We had a sporadic shopping trip in the afternoon. We pulled Yssa to join the fun!

The girls accompanied me to Makati Supermarket Alabang for some grocery shopping. We all had dinner at Hula Hula after. Grabe. Check out the before and after pictures of the Davao feast we had. We played a game of 31 and asked questions around. Yssa had us all intrigued! And Iris shared her winning speech. Ina had a lot of rice to eat. Haha.

April 14 Bon Voyage

Tito Romy, Tita Lody, Tita Marison, Nanay Naty, Lola Juling, Lolo Ric, and Lola Nieves left for Canada last April 14th. Packing frantically, the travellers were able to leave the Geocaniga household a little past 1:30 for their 5 pm flight.

Have a rockin' time in Canada!
